I installed prepopulate on a 5.0 server and while it installed without a hitch, I get no option to enable prepopulation when I try to edit a content type. Am I missing something?

No, you're not missing something. It's gone. It's a bug.

However, it's on by default, so it shouldn't affect the way the module works, you just can't turn it off (yet).
