Site launch

I have a site that I have put together at www.mysite.com/drupal ... I have everything setup the way a like and want to move the site to www.mysite.com/ ... Can I just copy the files from .../drupal to .../ ? I assume I would need to update path information but I am new to Drupal so could use a little advice before I give it a shot.

I jist did that
I just did the same thing and asked my web host to move the files but all you have to do is move the folders directly under the folder you want. Mine is now under the www folder.
