I've got a few cases where we're using something like Flash to create view elements via a service call, and would like to have a page reloaded after submission.

I have a patch that adds support for popups-close-reload, which I will attach below off of 6.x-2.x.

I think this affects more than the original post. The FAQ module creates a list of frequent questions that can open when clicked on. If one has a popup link in it and the user clicks on it, then the questions will not open until the page is reloaded.
