Hi,
I am using flash format for videos on my site. But when the videos are transcoded in to flv, the resulting video does not have the video's duration information. So, the user cannot see how much of the video has been seen by him and he cannot stop or view specific scene repeatedly from the transcoded video because the flow player disables the video progress bar when viewing videos..
Flash videos without transcoding work fine. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
Thanks
DIMSKK

lismail commentedHi,
I use JW5 and have a similar problem (unable to move time slider, volume slider and no duration displayed). I initially I suspected issue with SWF Tools + JW5 until I tested it by creating a plain html file to embed and play the converted and non-converted flv (from YouTube) file, It looks like issue with metadata, but not sure how to test if flvtool2 is working well.
Any idea? Thank you in advance.
Lismail.

lismail commentedIt turns out my flvtool2 is not working well. Probably this is the same issue you have.

Jorrit commentedExactly, this indicates that there is a problem with flvtool2. If you think the problem lies in the video module, please reopen.
