I noticed that having the javascript option enabled in the Language switcher dropdown settings will conflict with other javascripts i.e. modal etc and the Language switcher dropdown will output non-javascript option even if Language switcher dropdown javascript is enabled

I guess it's better don't enable the javascript option since it will cause you problems mentioned and howsoever not adding anything you can do in css instead. Maybe the module will come up with a solution later on

This should not be happening. If someone founds a conflict please open a new issue and, this is very very important, with a link to the site with the problem.

It is impossible to do anything without a link to a page with the problem to confirm that it comes from this module. The javascript lybrary included in language switcher dropdown should not conflict with any other.
