Only had a chance to test with an mp3 file for audio. The file is over 2 minutes, the player insists it is 40 seconds. The progress bar plays to the end by 40 seconds. The player does play the entire file, though.

this most likely has something to do with the meta data encoded in the media file. Have you tried playing this audio file in other web players?

This was a problem with the 7.x-1.x branch, but has been fixed in the 7.x-2.x branch. As this is an old issue, I am moving this to "closed (fixed)" rather than "fixed."
