Error when saving panel layout for re-use

Hi, I will post this on the ctools page also as I am unsure where exactly the issue actually lies.

Using ctools-7.x-1.0-alpha4 with the multiflex3-7.x-3.0-beta1 theme. Attempted to save a panel layout for reuse and this error occurred:
