Just tried using the 3.x-dev version, and it does not seem to be creating the repeated nodes.

Did you go to the widget settings?

Only local images are allowed.

I did, but going back in to the widget settings the box is unchecked.

Update: cannot get the node repeat checkbox to stay checked. Cleared caches, created new data fields, new content types, but still not working. Nothing is getting added to the node repeat database tables.

So I fix it and committed http://drupalcode.org/project/node_repeat.git/commit/d5e47d7.

Note than the automatic build should run before you can test it (or you can manually patch).
