I'm using the Fusion Core with the Mix and Match Sub-theme and I cannot for the life of me figure out what's wrong with superfish. I've attempted to manually make the block a higher z-index and I've also tried to change the padding on the different regions but none of it seemed to help. If you go to my site, http://www.tuvgs.com, you'll see the problem.

The major issue is that the bar is cut off with no explanation. I've attached a picture of the problem as well. The other issue is that the bar is not fully rendering (as you can see from the bump from "store" to the rest of the uncompleted bar.

The issue only gets worse when you try to attach the Fusion Theme menu options, such as larger text, padding, etc.

I'm going crazy attempting to fix it and I'm hoping someone here can help. Thanks!

Hey Sean,

As far as Firebug can tell:

#block-superfish-1 .block ul,
#block-superfish-1 .block ol {
  margin-left: 0;
}

#block-superfish-1 {
  overflow: visible;
}

Thanks Mehrpadin for the quick reply.

It appears I've fixed the issue of the menu clipping, but I still have the issue with the drop down menu. Here's what I've changed:

.block ul, .block ol {
margin-left: 0;
padding: 0;
z-index: 10;

I however cannot find the #block-superfish1 you indicate. I assumed that the block ul that was containing superfish would have done the trick.

Edit: And now after adjusting it for Chrome, it's broken the Webkit and I have NO idea how to fix it. I reverted to a previous CSS file and now it's completely broken.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, just add those codes to your CSS.

Okay, I'm completely confused. Where should I add that into? The local.css or somewhere else?

Edit: I've added that exact code to the local.css and it hasn't changed anything.

Your issue appears to be the css

.row, .nested, .block {
    overflow-x: hidden;
    overflow-y: hidden;
}

As I've noted in numerous comments on superfish menus, overflow:hidden seems to be a significant problem and changing it to overflow:visible (or removing it) solves your problem. Not mine though :(

Edit: (other peoples comments!)

This did it! Thanks Dan. Now I need to figure out how to move the box to the left by 2em, but that's a fusion issue.

OK, so although I am aware you can change the css to make the menus run correctly, I am a novice at this, working on my church's Web site. So, some help would be greatly appreciated. I installed a wp theme with superfish menu and it is not functioning at all like it was in the preview for the theme. Please see hbfcass.com/beta. The drop downs are not working at all and it is displaying the menu items as one long list with the nested pages directly following their parent pages in the list. As I said, I am a novice, and will need the "updating css for dummies" version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
