5.x version needed

a 5.x version is needed !!

I saw a feature request : add PGSQL support.
I can't understand : if the DAL (db abstr layer) is used, this should be no issue ?
even more "abstractly", user_save etc. functions should be used, idem for profile,
so this should not depend on the SQL.
if not yet done, rewriting the 4.x code in that spirit (+.info file) might give a 5.x compatible version (?)
