Unable to select database
We were able to connect to the MySQL database server (which means your username and password are okay) but not able to select the database.
The MySQL error was: Unknown database 'd60333384'.
Currently, the database is d60333384. The username is u70363792 and the database server is localhost.
Are you sure you have the correct database name?
Are you sure the database exists?
Are you sure the username has permission to access the database?
For more help, see the Installation and upgrading handbook. If you are unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your hosting provider.
Everything was working fine when I logged out last night. I see the directory in my ftp. Any idea what's going on?

Assuming you're on shared
Assuming you're on shared hosting there's a couple of possiblities:
mysql has crashed/stopped on the server - in which case you'll have to raise a ticket with your hosting support
or something's funny in your settings.php file - check the username/password etc. are correct in that.
If you have access with cpanel/phpmyadmin you could also try looking at the mysql db in that - if you can access it from there without errors then it's probably something in settings.php
unable to select database
How would I determine if my database number is correct. I am not familiar with the numbers in the error message. I am assuming it might be on the server side because everything worked when I logged out last night.
Thanks
turns out the database server was down on the host side...
They should have sent me an email....Thanks for the help
Chmod 644 or 777?
When you were finished installing your Drupal site, did you chmod your settings.php file back to 644, or did you leave it at 777? Because overnight, someone could have hacked your site and modified your settings.php file.
