as part of a project, i had to sort the email list by email, it is a really easy and quick feature i have implemented on the attached patch, hope you like it.

Thanks for the contribution. A few observations:
- There would have to be a corresponding setting at admin/config/services/contact_importer/settings for this.
- Development on the D6 version is closed. The patch would need to be re-rolled for Drupal 7.
