Menu item for access own project issues privilege

For the project module, is there some way of creating a link/menu item that will allow users to view just the project issues they have submitted after giving them the 'access own project issues' privilege but without giving them the full 'access project issues' privilege which would otherwise let them see all issues?

I've searched through the forums and online but can't seem to find anyone else who has needed to do this.
