I have just created a site and populated it with content but now when I try to add content I get a message saying "you have not created any content types. Please create a content type to proceed" but all the content types are there when I go to structure. I have checked permissions and everything seems correct. How can I switch them on again. Any Ideas please.

But I'm also having the same problem, and it's beyond frustrating. I can create new blog posts easy enough, because there's another link, but I need to add new pages... When I look at my content types, they are all there... what could be the issue??

Hey Alan,

Just wanted to let you know that I found a solution on the boards here: http://drupal.org/node/997444

I googled "You have not created any content types yet. Go to the content type creation page to add a new content type." And found that entry. I know for SURE this is my problem, since I disabled the add content link in the menu, hopefully that's you're problem too!
