Syntax error in caused by copying cosign dir into modules folder

I get this error after copying the cosing module directory into the drupal modules folder:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /var/www/apache2-default/drupal/sites/all/modules/cosign/cosign.module on line 97
After deleting the comma in line 96 the error disappears. However, since I'm no PHP programmer I don't know whether that is the right solution...
