Hello,
I would like to propose a new feature for ldo, or maybe l10n_server/client interface, something i'd call a "active glossary". It would make the process of translation quicker (for new/returning translators and moderators) and more consistent.
This feature would help new people to memorize "official glossary" for certain group. It would be also great for people like me, that are not so good in memorizing vocabularies.
So instead searching how to translate "display" or "attachment" to Polish I would love to see some suggestions next to translation area. I attached a screen with very simple UI proposal - words with red borders have been recognized to be in glossary and when we hover the mouse over one of them we could show the explanation somewhere in row of translated string.
Those suggestions would come from official group glossary, which could be maintained in vocabularies/terms/similar terms structure.
In our group we have a glossary for common used Drupal terms like "node", "comment", "module", "template", and so on. We would like to make our translations as consistent as possible, but it is not easy to teach every new group member to memorize all the words. Some of them start to translate when they even don't know that something like glossary exists.

This would great feature! Jumping around to search how things were translated before is slowing down the process a lot. As the glossary grows it's also harder find information fast and if this would be working like described above the glossary could be very big and still very usable.

palik commentedI found my old post in polish group (original and Google translation), which is somewhat relevant. You could take this as another proposition of UI/UX for this feature.
