First I really would like to thank you for developing this fantastic module!!
I just wonder if you can make the player start playing in iphone and ipad by pressing the big button in the player screen instead of pressing the controller, a little bug I've got now is that when I enable autoload the screen play arrow keep spinning in the ipad, so I have to turn it off, but to initiate the player user have to press the play button in the controller, which is not intuitive to ipad/iphone user, I found that after the first controller play button press, the big play arrow appear correctly, so I wonder if you may make it work as default. Many thanks!!

akolahi commentedI am having the same issue with the 6.x version as well. Also, i noticed that (at least for the 6.x version) not only does the large play button not work, but you actually have to press the small play button twice to actually play the video on the iPad. I think most iPad or iPhone users would first press the large play button (since hitting the small one is difficult with touch interface).

pixelsweatshop commentedThis does seem a little counter-intuitive. @travist, is this intended or is it a bug?
travist commentedCertainly not intended, but a result of my lack of iPhone or iPad's to test. If you know of an emulator I can use to test this I would be appreciative.
Thanks,
Travis.

pixelsweatshop commentedWhat about the emulator that comes with apple's integrated development environment? https://developer.apple.com/xcode/ I would be willing to donate to get you something for testing, if anyone else is willing to contribute too.

travist commentedI have made some progress with this. If you download the latest DEV version, I am working on a new "core" player called minPlayer (which you would need to enable in the modules section). Try this player and see if the player works as exptected in iPhone and iPad? If so, then I will work toward updating the OSM Player to use the minPlayer as a "core" player.
Thanks,
Travis.

Bernsch commentedI have an similar issues with the 7.x-2.0-RC8 Version.
On iPad i can't start the videos (i have youtube videos in my playlist).
From time to time i can only hear the sound and i see the videoimage but not the video.

damiandab commentedOn iPad I have similar issues with RC8 as @Bernsch described.
I'm able to start the first video, but if I choose another one from the playlist, I hear only the sound and no video is playing. The control bar doesn't show at all.
Best,
Damian

damiandab commentedHi Travis,
I've just tested the latest dev version. minPlayer has no playlist option (or I coudn't find it) and the ipad problem relates to OSM player with playlist.
Best,
Damian

jsidigital commentedWas there ever a solution for this?
I have a page created in views with nodeplayer. Playlist showing vimeo videos on block that controls nodeplayer. Works great on all except on ipad and iphones. Only first video works. When other thumbnails are selected, only image preview shows but player "play" button on center of video is not visible and does not play. Pretty much playlists in blocks do not work on iphones or ipads. Any solution for this? Think the autoload setting is an issue?
