Drupal is unbeatable.

Thanks for all the code and community!

HowU.info is a new site that aggregates multiple question/answer sites on the web and allows for original submission as well. It uses Feedparser (simple and sweet) for aggregation and Mollio for theme. The site has taken the KISS route of simplicty over a feature packed site w/ ratings, profiles, points, pools, etc.

If you would, please comment on its usability and value. Thanks so much!

Additionaly, there are a couple of outstanding questions regarding further development:

Language Integration (Taxonomy? Localizer? ...?)
+ How can posted questions (page nodes on site and aggregated nodes w/ Feedparser) be auto-translated to other languages?
+ How can comments (answers) to questions be translated to the other languages

Comment Sharing
+ How can Drupal comments be 'shared'? Is it possible to let other sites copy Drupal comments to the same question and vice versa?

License of Original Submissions
+ Would it be useful to make the original questions posted to HowU.info be GNU FDL or Share-Alike licensed?

Extra
+ What other modules would you suggest to add value to the site.
+ Make it Hip? How does one prevent being a passing trend site?

If you answer any of these questions, I'd be more than happy to make comments on your site. It's so fun to see all the possibilities of what can be done with Drupal.

very clean, but all that red is a bit oft-putting.

your "submit a question" link on the bottom goes to "feedback" instead.

seems you like parsefeed module. have you tried leech? Is there any particular reason you chose parsefeed instead of leech?

thanks for the suggestion and comments, orick.

the red color is strong. what other color (or color code) would you suggest instead? a shade of blue, perhaps? i like the rollover color, maybe switch the active link color with the rollover color?

the submit link goes too feedback because that's the simplest way i can think to get an rss feed submission w/ feedparser w/out allowing total administration of the feeds.

i chose feedparser over leech and ag2 because it works with pathauto and isn't overly complex. i tried leech for a bit but couldn't get it to pull feed items in quantity - it pulled one at a time (probably i didn't get to learn to config it enough). the feedparser also has an inquiry issue to interface the localizer module, and languages seem important to this type of site.

thanks a lot for your thoughts - if you have any more suggestions, please let them be known. :-)

Mabye blue would work better, try it and see. Or try a dark shade of red.

forgot to say, it looks like feedparser is chopping up your long questions. Is it possible to configuer it to allow for longer questions?

yeah I found the big red letters almost hard to read, might want to rethink that ;-) wtg getting it up!

what color would you think would go well with the others on the site? would a green work at all? some people say the red is easy to read.

I was going to suggest a darker red if red is working. When I checked it tonight it looks like that's what you did. I am on a different computer then I was the last time so it might also be that my laptop shows color hues better. It wasn't as glaring and the red was deeper which for me made it easier on the eyes.
