I saw a thread that described my problem exactly, but it ended with saying the bug was fixed. I'm having this problem with the very latest version of bowob. The chat bar simply says "loading..." forever, and never loads.

I have the same problem with latest 6.10 version, on chrome & IE9 too.

Probably is a installation problem.

Try to reinstall it with README.txt steps.
Be sure to deactivate and delete old version files first.
Be sure to use "sites/all/modules/" directory instead of "modules/".
