I have a module that extends core's book.module to allow users to create series and chapters. I'd like to use this abandoned namespace, so I'm following the protocol at http://drupal.org/node/251466

Actually it's not abandoned, just was sadly neglected for a while. Let me push a dev release.

@Dave Reid: hey Dave, I don't know if you're still after this or if you found a suiting name for your project, but you could use book_series and book_chapter ;)
