I have installed all the required modules and set all the appropriate settings, but all i see is the rating of the votes, but i cannot vote regardless of whether i am admin or not. Its the same whether i try and use views or just a story page. Any help would be appreciated.

It's hard to help without seeing the actual site, but... if you disable javascript, do you see the rating form?

Also, have you got Drupal 5.1, with the updated jquery?

I disabled javascript and its still the same result. And yes i have Drupal 5.1. I though Jquery was included in Drupal 5.1

Sorry my mistake, when i disable javascript it works as it should when javascript is disabled

jQuery is included with Drupal, but there are incompatibilities with different versions of jQuery - make sure you've got the latest version of jRating. Other than that, I can't really help without seeing your site.

I wasnt able to figure out the exact issue, but it was something with the theme i was using. Once i changed the theme everything worked ok.
