Check your PHP memory limit. I just finished going around the horn with this after adding another module. A quick search turns up this: http://drupal.org/node/207036
Just remember: ALWAYS make a backup copy of a critical system file before changing it!
...Not sure if this is really a bug. Try increasing the PHP memory, and report back with your results.
