On my organic group home pages I want to have the welcome message, but hide the river of news.
I could set the OG homepage to a different content type, but I like the functionality of keeping Group as the standard homepage- I just don't want anything appearing under the welcome message (I prefer to hardcode content with links in the message).
I am guessing the answer is in the template.php.
I've read many a post on altering the "river of news" view- but I cannot find anything that simply hides it altogether.
