In my map view I center on the active marker but also display other markers in the proximity. The only solution I can find is to use a highlight which isnt especially helpful. That's why I wonder if it's possible to use different markers on the active and the rest?

It would be nice to make the active node more visible. Different marker or a popup window (http://drupal.org/node/763080) looks better than color highlighter, because highlighter does not scale with zooming.

Anybody already found a solution for this? Would be great to have a different image for the active marker to distinquish it with the other markers on a gmap views [nodes]. Especially in combination with www.drupal.org/node/929784
