Profile fields disappear from Views field list

Description
Using the HEAD version with Core 5.x. Created several views using usernode and profile fields. When I make additions/changes to the profile fields some of them disappear from the views fields select list. This causes any views referencing those profile fields to fail. Profile fields reappear if they are edited and update.php is run.
