Card Reader

I'm setting up a website and I'm trying to use our new card reader. It is a MiniMagII, MagStripe Reader, model IDMB-3351xx. It's from IDTECH (http://idtechproducts.com/products/swipe-readerwriters/24.html http://idtechproducts.com/download/swipe-readers/cat_view/94-swipe-reade...)

The problem I'm having is that it isn't submitting the card data to the UberPOS system. I have an authorize.net card present account. When I test my card swiping capabilities through authorize.net, it works fine. However, my site's UberPOS doesn't accept the card. I have configured the reader to submit track 1 only, which seems to be the only info given about card readers on the site.

I'm wondering if there is any way you could help me configure this to your software. The config utility for my reader has many options, and I'm wondering if there are some that need to be tweaked a bit but don't know where to start. For starters, my configuration data is in IDTECH format, and USB HID is in MagTek format, sending start sentinel of '%' and end of '?'. Are these an issue?
