Any work on Kickstart as a feature ?

I encountered 2 problems with this profile:
1) The update of this profile to last Drupal Commerce is not really obvious, we need to move modules to site/all.
2) I didn't succeed to generate a makefile of my website with "drush make" because it's based on a profile.

I'm not a expert with feature, but I think it should be a more flexible way to install/uninstall/upgrade drupal commerce.

It makes sense to me too to have this as a Feature, maybe a new project can be created for that?

Kickstart v2 contains whole sets of features (as in: modules generated by features), it is not technologically feasible to provide the functionality we are providing (and plan to provide) in one feature. You are free to attempt this in another project, I have no problem with that, just setting expectations on what my team will work on and support.
