As of the time I'm writing this, this story's blockquote tags have the --break-- comment tag in between them which is causing the rest of the stories on this site's main page to be part of the blockquote as well.

This is a problem I run into all the time on my own site but I'm unsure of how to resolve it cleanly.

I've tried closing my blockquotes right before I insert the --break-- and then reopening them right after but you can't break sentences in mid-stream that way, and besides, on my site the CSS I'm using renders a dotted line long the side of the blockquote which gets broken by closing and reopening it.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Install the htmlcorrector module from contrib. I'm working on an improved version now.

Wish I could be there; Vancouver is a beautiful city and I'd love to get to know some of the names behind everything. Sadly, I'll be slogging it out in the home-stretch of this damned election we've got going on here in the states.

Best of luck and happy trails to all. Hopefully it will go well and there will be another dinner I can get in on.

Your going to want to wait until the event has passed.

Maybe Dries has some OOPSLA-related things to talk about until then.

The past 3 days, I've been meeting lots of Drupal developers, including the people from CivicSpace and Bryght (two Drupal-based companies). In fact, I had dinner with the CivicSpace people about an hour ago. Tomorrow morning I'm heading back home but I'll make sure to post a write-up and some pictures when home. Maybe someone already did by then. If you do, please cross-post it on drupal.org.

found some snapshots at flickr with the bryght tag and some x-box gaming as well.
