Hello,
Opened this thread for D7.
A promising alternative is this VBO search and replace action:

Leeteq commentedThe VBO maintainer suggest to put such integration in its own module, and thus closed that suggestion as a "Won't fix" for VBO.

mgiffordWell, don't seem to be many alternatives suggested.
What can be done to just upgrade this module using Coder? Least give us a start in the right direction to getting this working.
Also, who can step forward to take on the maintainer role?

mikeyr commentedThere is now a dev version of scanner for drupal 7.

mattbanks commentedI just installed scanner on a D7 site and cannot find where to actually perform the search and replace. In D6, it was under Content Management, but I can't find where it is under D7. I'm logged in as an admin (only user account).
EDIT: Nevermind, found it manually at admin/content/scanner - still can't find in any admin menu though.

mikeyr commentedThank you for pointing this out. I was developing with admin toolbar on and it was showing up under content->search and replace. Here's the direct url admin/content/scanner for now. I'll work on getting it to show up in the right place.
