I've installed and it works... well sometimes. I've set the session to be an hour, yet with in moments, the connection to the imap server fails with the Connection time out

For example. I log in.
It shows the new mail, or what ever.
I click on one to read.
Then after a moment, I get the following error:
IMAP Error: Could not connect to mail.cepfeifer.com at port 143: Connection timed out
and it reverts to the roundcube login.

Then I can't log in again for a while, with the same error.

This happens every few seconds - to moments.

What setting could I have missed to keep the connection to the imap server alive?

As a test I installed a stand alone version of roundcube webmail on the same server. Upon successful login, the imap server never fails connection.
This makes me believe there is a conflict with the automatic login from drupal causing the issue.
Do you have any suggestions?

Well - I don't know why. But all is working great now. So this issue is not an issue anymore.
I didn't do anything to fix it. It seems to have fixed itself, or it was a server issue that got corrected in the background.
