[Just to document this in case it saves anyone else a little time.]
The Nanogong java applet fails to start.
A box is displayed partly showing "Error click ..."
Clicking the box gives: "Application failed to run".
The java console displays messages saying the applet was not found.

tebb commentedYou have probably done what I did, upgrade the module and come back to content types to test it some days later.
When you upgrade the module, the "players" subdirectory is lost, so you have to obtain the Nanogong.jar file and place it back in that directory again, then all should be well.
BeaPower commentedI am also having this problem in the d6 version. How do you fix this issue?
tebb commentedAs per #1, after upgrading, you need to recreate the player(s) directory and put the jar file in there again.
BeaPower commentedim still using d6, I have not upgraded to d7 and will not. Im having problems in the d6 version but same error.
sylvaticus commentedMe too I never moved to D7 but gotthe same error.. and effectively the nanogong jar (in the "recorders" subfolder, not "players") was gonna. Once I downloaded it again it works.. maybe a 6.x to 6.x upgrade ??

mjhmobilemedia commentedI still can't get this thing to work. I think I may have the path names wrong. I have:
player/nanogong/nanogong.jar
Is that not right?
tamerzg commentedNo you need to put nanogong.jar in recorders directory inside audiorecorderfield module. Should look like:
sites\all\modules\audiorecorderfield\recorders\nanogong.jar
Comment #9
czursh commentedI have got the nanogong applet installed in D7 and I can record with it and save the sound but when i then go to save it as a node it does not display as a node. I only get the title of the post. Any idea what the problem might be?
tamerzg commentedDid you press upload after you recorded your file? If you are not user 1 did you check that you have permissions to view audiorecorderfield? Any errors in your report log?
czursh commentedI dont find a permissions box to check for the audio recorder module so I am just assuming there is not one or that the administrator automatically views all the content created like on all the other content that is created. I am user 1 administrator so I should have permission.
Yes. I pressed upload after I recorded and it came up with the recorded sound byte but it does not save and post as a node.....

loheslath commentedI have the same problem with Drupal 7.
Please, did some body find the solution?
