I'm sorely confused! :(

I have been bouncing back and forth playing with MLM and Send and it seems to be that I can't use MLM -- and the News module that depends on it -- unless I use an EZMLM or EZMLM-idx server.

Is this true -- I can't find any documentation to specifically confirm this. I operate a Communigate Pro 5.1 mail server. Does this mean I can't use MLM and News?

MLM was written to support pluggable backends. However, the only backends that have been written are for ezmlm. I would love to implement or include additional backends if there is funding or a code contribution.

We use Communigate Pro Server from Stalker Software. Is this something you could do? What would it cost? We're on a tight budget in the near future, but it might be something we could do.
