Upgrade to 6.x-1.2 breaks views

When I upgraded tagadelic views to 6.x-1.2 and then flushed cache, most of the views on the site were no longer displayed. In the log, there were repeated errors:

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /.../sites/all/modules/views/includes/view.inc on line 1747.

Views version is 6.x-2.12. Module was working prior to upgrading tagadelic and tagadelic views. Disabling the tagadelic views module and flushing cache restores all views.
