When I'm displaying the teasers for similar nodes, the input filters are not applied.
This leads to i.e. textile code being displayed instead of it's html equivalent

Right now the module takes a generic approach, but I wouldn't call it a bug, just a lack of feature support.

hmmm.. if the node has set "filter" to a value an that filter isn't applied to the node as specified,
I wouldn't call this "generic" behaviour, but lack of adhering to the concept of drupal - hence a bug

Is this only fixed in Drupal 5.x or is it also backported to 4.7.x? I ask to figure out why image_assist filter isn't working in teasers; it simply doesn't show the picture here.

I backported it on March 19th and it's in 4.7.x-1.1. I don't have a real 4.7 site anymore or have a use for image_assist, so I'm just assuming it works the same since it wasn't a complex backport. If it doesn't work, open a new bug against 4.7.x-1.1.
