...the embed code only provides the URL of the page the widget is attached to. iFrame does work.

I'm trying to provide a block in an e-newsletter that will display upcoming events automatically. Sending iFrames in an email is problematic for security reasons; I'm hoping I might have better luck with Google gadgets; perhaps I'm barking up the wrong tree here anyway.

I ended up punting on this particular issue, but as I recall, I was trying to embed a block in a mass email, which might not be such a hot idea anyway. I'm on D7 now, so if I do revisit this, it will be on D7, so I suppose you could close this particular thread. Thanks for checking back!
