Hello:

Fairly new to Drupal. I'm helping a bookseller with his Drupal site. He's selling a fair of books by sending out messages via Twitter, Facebook and email. he wants to know which service is bringing in the most people. Is there a way to tell what services people are coming to the site from? Ideally, I would like to build a view showing inbound links matched to titles the users bought.

Thank you

Hi!
This is not about drupal, it is about every site. No matter which platform you used to build the site, you can find out what is the source of your visitors. Google has a service which is called 'analytics', you can register with this.
Once you register, you will get a tracking code. There is a drupal module that can help you add the statistics tracking code to your site: http://drupal.org/project/google_analytics
