I get the following message in the log: "Successfully downloaded the thumbnails file and replaced the default image." But it is a lie. The thumbnails are getting downloaded, and if I edit the video node I can see the thumbnails(although none are selected) and choose one, click save, all good. But it's not automatically choosing one after transcoding.

My friend did some trouble-shooting on this issue and discovered that if no one attempts to view the video before the transcoding is done, the thumbnails work fine. If someone views the node, the default thumbnail is added, and never gets switched.
