franzCould you please provide better details? How can this be reproduced?
jenlamptonClick the "demonstrate block regions" link at the top of the blocks admin page. I see the name of the theme as the page title there.
franzWhy is this a strange place to see it? The page title gets to be the Theme's name, which is odd, and I think it should be changed to "Page Title". However, it's positioning is important in a demonstration page.
The bug report mentions 'Home', which appears to me (in Bartik) in the Primary menu (fine) and lame breadcrumb. I still don't get the issue.

yoroy commentedThis?
franzThat's what I saw, doesn't seem wrong in any way.
yoroy commentedWell, if a usability test shows that it threw people off, it threw people off. It happens because of the top yellow region indicators taking up space, pushing the title down.
This could well be an indication that the participant did not recognize the yellow bars as containers to put blocks in. I'm not sure this needs a direct fix, I'm taking it as a symptom of a sub-optimal demonstration of available regions.
franzyoroy, I still think, however, that changing the page title to "Page Title" rather than the theme name helps something. That's a quick fix at least.
yoroy commentedIt might. Though that doesn't change anything about the strange position of the title, which is what was observed.
franzPerhaps the demonstration place should actually hold "example blocks" inside the regions instead of these yellow empty regions. Does that seems nice? I think I can play around with a mockup for this.
jenlamptonWe have another issue requesting example content
#1164732: Users expected to see actual/sample text within block demonstration page (Add sample text to block demo page)
What if the "example regions" were actually full-height regions instead of a tiny horizontal highlight?
I think part of the problem here was that the user didn't understand that the page title was not within a region, so seeing it floating in the middle of the page seemed odd. I'm not really sure there anything actionable we can do about this, but it is worth noting that people don't think "regions" are defined by where blocks could be placed.
franzI'd like to see an example with dot-bordered (with a neat "this-is-a-block" text) blocks lying around every region, that'd be really nice and helpful.
I liked the way you could position blocks in blogspot, don't know if anyone seen that? There is a neat wireframe of the regions and you drag and drop blocks into them and they take some space, it's pretty clear as to the regions, so it's some inspiration (only, as that's totally different in many ways).

wturrell commentedPlease clarify steps to reproduce - I don't see a title anywhere on the Demo blocks page following a clean install of 8.2.x, even if I go to the 'Page title' or 'Content' blocks and click 'Display title', which is off by default anyway.
Also it's not clear to me how the patch to the routing makes any difference.
