Hi, I need to export all the data from the users profiles to a file administrator users can download without having to access the database directly, I installed the Profile CSV Module and although it works great it has a small problem it changes all the special characters (á, à, é, è, í, ì,ò, ó, ù, ù, û, ü,etc) which makes the information useless.
Does anyone now how to solve this issue, or can recomend me another module or form to accomplish this task?
Al your help will be greatly apreciated

ckuert commentedHi nssdcg
Got a similar problem...
As far as I can say it, profile_csv exports the special characters in the format UTF-8.
The only good thing is, that with Apple Numbers 2.0.5 I can simply drag & drop the file onto the app and it converts everything correctly.
Unfortunately with Excel MS Office 2008 for Mac 12.2.6 I can only choose "Macintosh", "Windows (ANSI)" and "DOS or OS/2 (PC-8)" coding, and neither of them work fine. With Excel MS Office 2011 for Mac 14.1.0, i have several more options including UTF-8 - but there it exchanges the special characters with an _
so if anyone can help with the MS thing, i would appreciate it...
Best regards

ckuert commentedI just tried Google Docs - creating a new spreadsheet and import the csv - there it work perfectly as well, and then you can export it as an excel file....
