Just recently, i come across with the Share It plug-in for wordpress by Alex King. It is very neat in displaying the service link. what is your opinion? should it be just a template hack or integrated in the service link module? or maybe a module by itself which maybe can work with forward module, service link module, etc.

The "Share this" plugin look nice, should be possible to do in Drupal 5 with the built in jQuery JavaScript library. I'm no expert on JavaScript but will take a look at it, it some one else who are good with JavaScript/jQuery would provide a patch I would be happy to commit it.

The solution would need to degrade gracefully and I think it would be best to make this new feature optional.
