Hi

If you look at the Skinr block settings, there are many more options for the D6 version than that for D7, including background color for blocks, block titles & a couple of other things.

Is this intended or there is a way around this? I'd very much want to use those options on a new site for which this theme is the best.

That is due to the fact the D7 Skinr module has been listed as being unstable on not functional on the project page for some time now. So I haven't incorporated all the extra Skinr features in the D7 version yet. However, the Fusion project page is reporting the the dev version of Skinr is usable, so I'm going to add in those features and try to get a new release out in the next couple weeks. It won't be anything I'd recommend for a production site, but perhaps folks can help test it out.

I might just not be seeing it... but I can't figure out how to align the content of a block.

The options I have available under skinr are:

Background Color
Header Background Color
Header Text Color
Link Text Color

for example how can I align the search box to the right?... right now it is on the left of the header block

Block alignment is handled by the Fusion Skinr settings. You're just seeing the ones this theme implements. You might be using the wrong version of Fusion - only the 7.x-1.x version works with Skinr.

As noted on the project page, this theme has been switched over to use AdaptiveTheme, and your issues seem to be related to the Fusion skins. I am not maintaining that version of the theme any longer, but if you have similar issues with the latest release, please let me know and I can try to help.
