Dear,

We "Ausy/DataFlow" would like to be listed in the service directory.

In Belgium we are fastly growing to become the largest Drupal integrator for Enterprise Customers. We help the local Drupal community by organising DUG's and helping the organisers of bigger Drupal events as the Drupal Dev Days in Brussels.
For the second year in a row we will be a sponsor at the European DrupalCon. As an Acquia Enterprise Select Partner we also organise public Drupal trainings which are created by Acquia.

Should I just include the draft of our page here as a preview for you to approve?

Kind regards,

Bart Meert

Title: Request to be listed in the service directory » Add Ausy/DataFlow to the service directory

Hi Bart- it sounds like you're off to a good start, but I don't think you're quite there yet. If you're really becoming the "the largest Drupal integrator for Enterprise Customers" (not sure if that's true or not), then why aren't you contributing any code back from the projects that you're working on? At the very least I'd expect to see a good amount of patches, and probably some modules as well.

The idea with this list is that those that "pay for the plumbing" get this one (very small) benefit, and I don't believe that trainings and sponsorship are enough to warrant inclusion. I'm hoping that you'll join in with all the other companies (such as my own) who are making money building Drupal sites all the while contributing back as much as we possibly can to the community-- in my experience, it's definitely worth the time and effort!

Hi Alex

Could you please re-review this request? The previous comment didn't state our work in the community. I've tried to list up all our community contributions below to show you we work together with the drupal community. We also think it's definitely worth the time and effort.

Code contributions
Here are listed most of our contributions that come directly from projects we're working on:
- wmostrey is maintainer of Apache Solr Nodereference Extras and Facebook comments.
He's also co-maintainer of Apache solr search integration and Apache solr attachments
- nicoheulsen is maintainer of nedstat, backdrop, webform swfupload & few other smaller modules.
- domidc is maintainer of Fancy multiselect, Jquery multiselect & a few others.
He's also co-maintainer of Corresponding node references
- phoenix has posted some patches and is working on the apachesolr_location module (sandbox for the moment, but in review process to get full project rights)
- sandervd has already committed code to a sandbox Josso SSO
- brunogoossens has two sandboxes. One of those (file_replace) is in the review process to become a full project. The other sandbox is a module to log in with a windows live account.
- sandergo90 has a sandbox: commerce panels integration.

Community involvement
We organized a few DUG meetups for the dutch speaking drupal community: http://drupal.be
- Our most recent event was in decmeber 2011, a meet up about distributions & features
phoenix and junni are part of a three people group that started out a drupal community in Leuven

Certified to rock scores for team members
- wmostrey: 6
- domidc: 4
- phoenix: 3
- nicoheulsen: 2
- sandervd: 1

Sponsoring
Ausy/Dataflow also sponsored a lot of drupal events. Some of these: drupalcon Copenhagen, drupal developer days 2011 Brussels, drupalcon London
I hope this can convince you. Let me know if you need some extra information.

Hello,

is there any update on this request?

Thanks for sorting this out.

Marketplace update is in progress right now and we do not add new companies to /drupal-services book anymore. That book soon will be replaced by http://drupal.org/marketplace-preview. I can see that you already have a listing in marketplace-preview: http://drupal.org/node/1138938, so closing this issue as a won't fix.
