Hello,

I'm using the gmap module for drupal.

I don"t know why but my images aren't transparent... why?

Take a look at this shot: http://www.freelink.be/micobros/map.gif

You can see that the marker, the google resize tool and the google logo aren't transparent...

Do you guys know the reason?

thanks,

micobros

I've not seen that issue before... does it happen when you use the main maps.google.com site or another site using the API (eg. http://geodaniel.org/geoblog )?

Nope, just on mine :)

Well it's hard to diagnostic without seeing in action but the first idea that comes into my mind is... CSS...
You should perhaps double check your styles... or at least post a link where we could see the problem "in action"

Yeah, sorry, i know it would be easyer if I could show you directly the website. But its on a local *unconnected* computer for now.

I just tested with IE (was on Firefox before) and it works fine... That means CSS (styles) are fine right?

I just created a domain for this website. So now, you can check out my problem with gmap module:

https://wiki.free-spot.net/web/?q=freespot_carte_noeud

And by the way, with Mozilla, when I access the site in https I just get one popup to accept the certificate. But when i access with IE, on each page it will ask me if I want to access the content: "This page contains secured and unsecured elements... Do you want to print the unsecured elements?".

It's very annoying... And i don't have that when i surf on https content on other websites i have... Is there a solution?

thanks,

I just posted to your other issue about https too, but seeing as it's Gmaps specific, I'll add a comment here too. Right now, Google Maps (the actual API, not the Drupal module) don't support maps over HTTPS as far as I'm aware. You could limit the popups to only pages that the maps actually show on by choosing the 'dynamic' method in the Gmap settings. I think it has some bugs and is called in the wrong places occasionally, but it's a good start.

Yep, thx again...

didnt find the issue for the image background too? :)

this is really odd - the images get transparent on the macro creation tool, but not in the node i created with the macro. check it out: http://www.geral.etc.br/brunoteca/?q=node/15

The page with the gmap module doesn't work anymore if i put it in dynamic.

How could i load it ?
