I was look for exactly the same thing!
I was thinking of doing it by using cck and contemplate, but that means hard coding the adverts into the node template, anyone else got an idea?
adsense and referrer module
hi,
I think what you want to get done is possible with the adsense and referrer module.
Look for it here within Drupal!

sharing adsense money with the content contributors
i am looking for a solution, for node authors to share the adsense money made by the ads on their node pages...
referrer module seems to reward members whose profile pages have referrer links.

adsense will do this.
If you use the adsense module, with revenue sharing and include the referrer module. You will get exactly this.
You need to do exactly as told with the installation.
you can tell how much % you want to give the node-author. If it is 80% then 4 out of the 5 views will have their adsense code and the fifth will have yours.
what is the name of your site please?

Martijn
How to become a publisher
Revenue sharing is a great feature. I want to use it on my site. What sould I tell the authors, how do they get their own adsense account? Do they _need_ their own websites (this could be a barrier for some of them; as far as I know, not everyone has a site or blog)? Or can they use my domain for Adsense registration? Google explains the form "primary URL":
'Please list the URL for the primary website on which you'll use AdSense. This is for application purposes only - you'll also have the chance to implement AdSense on your other sites.'
And this _could_ mean you don't need to be webmaster. But I'm not sure yet.
Any experiences with adsense requirements?
thanks in advance,
Cherok
You can do this
Some of our users just used their Blog URL at our site to sign up for an adsense account and it worked. But they all did this after publishing a lot of content. May not work if you do so without having any content in your personal blog.

Issue with Channels?
I installed the adsense module today and now I have a related question:
- I want to use my channels - so I set them up in the settings page.
- I switched on revenue sharing
It works fine. The authors pub-id.... is shown for different authors. In all the other places my pub-id.... is show. So far so good.
But my channels are shown for my ads and the other authors ads. For every ads my channels are used. For google it must now look like others are using my channels.
- Will this lead to problems?
- Will the other authors get the revenue? Because for google they seem to use a channel who belongs to somebody else - to me.
- Will the other authors see my channel data?
Maybe I better remove the channel data from adsense module settings????
Any ideas or solutions?
Thanks a lot, Werner
