Now that we have fieldgroup display settings (http://www.drupal.org/85679), it would be a pity not to have them properly inserted in the display overview, like they are in the field overview.

I had integrated a group listing for the "display fields" tab in the patch, or are you talking from something else?

Yes, but on my install they appear in a separate section below the fields listing.
My goal would be to have them listed along with the fields, at the correct place wrt weights, and have the enclosed fields nested below, just like the on the field overview in the 'manage fields' tab.

Or is it supposed to be already the case and I'm missing something ?

no that's it, now I know what you mean. probably we should render them as fieldset again.
