Hi All,
Google is shutting down the translate API.
how will this affect us?
is there another API to use instead?

we have six months to solve this and the clock is ticking...

Hi Martijn,
It looks like google will not close the service, they will start to charge for it.

I tried to add google translation as a translation service, but I was not able to. Could you give me a hand how I can get the google machine language get to work?
Thanks a lot in advance!

The free API is supposed to stop working on December 1st, which is tomorrow. Does this module currently work with the paid version of the API (v2) or does that still need to be implemented?

Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, or if the transition to v2 doesn't require anything special on the module side. I'm just trying to figure out what the best solution for automated translation via Google is now that the API is no longer free -- other similar modules seem to be going through the same difficulties, but nothing has settled down enough to be reliable as of now, it seems.
