Pixo, formerly OJC Technologies, provides industrial-strength Drupal services to enterprise-wide and complex clients from our headquarters in Urbana, Illinois. Since 1998, we have partnered engineers with artists to deliver top-quality solutions and served as a trusted partner for public-sector and corporate clients, bringing their visions to life online.
We deliver Industrial-Strength Drupal. An enterprise-class web presence demands an industrial-strength approach. At Pixo, scalability and maintainability drives architectural decisions and module selection. We have developed a reliable and efficient methodology for automating the migration of website content into Drupal from legacy CMS's and large-scale websites. We offer information architecture, usability, custom module development, and a holistic set of enterprise Drupal services.
We offer Drupal Support and Maintenance Plans. Pixo recognizes that Drupal sites need on-going pro-active maintenance and that any organization using Drupal needs on-going help and site improvements. Pixo provides annual Support and Maintenance plans for Drupal websites, whether they were built by Pixo or not. We help organizations keep their mission-critical web presence running smoothly.
We have authored portions of the Drupal core system and add-on modules. We are regularly invited to present at conferences such as Drupal Camp Chicago 2008, Drupal Camp Indy 2010 and DrupalCon 2011. We are one of the few companies that have contributed enhancements to the Drupal core. We have experience creating and customizing numerous content management systems, both commercial and open source, and integrating them into hundreds of sites. Our programmers are leaders in the open source software movement, having produced the world’s leading community wireless software, and the popular Drupal accessibility module, to name a few. Simply put, we don’t simply use Drupal – we are a key component of Drupal.
We are advocates and speakers on accessibility. Websites developed by Pixo are accessible and standards-compliant from the ground up. Pixo uses multiple standards and tools for testing and improving accessibility. Since the W3C WCAG 1.0 was first released in 1999, Pixo has trained our staff and pursued the most up-to-date and broadly-supported techniques for web accessibility. We routinely build sites that comply with U.S. Section 508, W3C WCAG 2.0, and the Illinois IT Accessibility Act. Pixo was a lead author of new accessibility features in Drupal 7, and our accessibility enhancements were contributed into the Drupal 7 core product.
