"More" link at the bottom of "New forum topics" block

Currently, the more link at the bottom of the "New forum topics" block on Drupal.org refers to http://drupal.org/forum. By clicking that link, the visitor goes from reading a list of forum topics to an overview of all forums. This is a bit jarring and does not invite the reader to read on. A visitor needs to scroll down and click on a specific forum before being able to continue to browse the latests posts.

I suggest to let the more link refer to http://drupal.org/tracker. That way, the user can continue to read more new post titles and get involved by responding immediately. I understand that new forum topics does not equal recent posts as recent posts can be comments to old forum topics.

A more fitting solution would be to create a new tracker page that lists only new forum topics instead of recent posts. One could create http://drupal.org/newtopics and link more to that page. To me, this seems the more intuitive and user-oriented website behaviour.

I feel that this would the help improve community involvement. To investigate this, one could track how many visitors go from moreto another forum or create a topic or comment and see whether the current flow is inhibiting users to get involved. Another way to test this is compare the current situation with a new situation in how many posts go unanswered.
