I was having javascript problems in IE and in an attempt to debug them I've been using the Firefox debugger (as I can't seem to get the IE one to make a report).

Firefox says there's an error in jquery/47/pageax.js - illegal character - though the debug message mentions vote_up_down/ajax_vote_up_down so I'm assuming Firefox is right in posting the issue to jQuery - the last bit is recognizably from the pageax.js code

There are a bunch of illegal characters at the front of the report which won't cut and paste but are eight bit and then:
