Thanks for the great module. I ran into some troubles when synchronizing my nodes (and files) across translations. The files appeared to everyone and marking "private" did not do anything anymore.

I agree there is a bug with i18n sync thing.

From what I've seen, to render the original file private again, after you've edited all translations, you have to come back to the article which contains the attached file, edit and save it by selecting the private checkbox again for the files you want to be private.

If you modify any translation after that, you'll have to edit the article with file attached to set it to private again.

Personally I disabled the i18n sync thing, but I've got a really small site and it isn't necessary for me.
